Seán Dixon started his PhD here in the Molecular Rheumatology group. In 2019 he completed a BSc in Biomolecular Science at Technological University Dublin after carrying out his research placement with the School of Pharmacy and Molecular Sciences, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland supervised by Dr. Ingmar Schoen. From here, he went on to become laboratory technician centred in the Cell and Molecular Biology lab, School of Biological and Health Sciences, TU Dublin assisting in the supply of academic material, technical and research supports to undergraduate students. In 2022, Seán began his studies at TBSI supervised by Dr. Viviana Marzaioli focusing on the impact of monocyte molecular signatures on the pathogenesis of rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.
