European Workshop for Rheumatology Research (EWRR) 2017
Dr Mary Canavan, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Rheumatology Research Group, was awarded First Prize in the Best Poster Presentation category at the 37th European Workshop for Rheumatology Research (EWRR), which recently took place from March 2nd-4th in Athens, Greece.
Congratulations to Mary and to all the other members of the group who attended the conference!
PhD Thesis Submission
Congratulations to Sarah Wade for submitting her PhD Thesis “MicroRNA and Their Targets: Critical Effectors of PsA Synovial Inflammation”. Three years of hard work have finally paid off. We wish her every success in the future!
EULAR 2017 Madrid
This year, Madrid was home to the annual EULAR Congress which took place from the 14th-17th June.
Since its beginnings in 2000, EULAR has been established as the leading conference for rheumatology, where it provides a platform for scientific and clinical exchange of ideas, while also offering the opportunity to liaise with patient organisations.
The Molecular Rheumatology group was well represented this year with Dr. Mary Canavan, Dr. Trudy McGarry, Sarah Wade and Megan Hanlon all attending!
