Hannah has been a Research Assistant for the Molecular Rheumatology Research Group and an employee of CARD since June 2016. Primarily, she coordinates our weekly arthroscopies and liaises with our research team to confirm sample collection and processing. She also assists the research team with any experimental procedures that need doing. Hannah obtained her Undergraduate degree from Trinity College Dublin in Molecular Medicine and so has a strong interest in the immunology and biochemistry of disease and how scientific and clinical research can be translated into potential drug therapies. She recently completed an MSc in Science Communication in DCU and has applied the oral and written communication skills acquired during her Masters to her role with CARD and has contributed to editing of the website, proof-reading of research manuscripts and the publication of a rheumatology focused newsletter.
